Pontiac Theatre IV is pleased to announce auditions for the final show of our 2018-2019 season A Time to Kill adapted from the John Grisham novel for the stage by Rupert Holmes. A Time to Kill is produced in association and with materials provided by Playscripts, Inc. The show is produced and directed by Steven M. Cunningham.
Auditions will be held on Monday May 13, Wednesday May 15 and Thursday May 16 at 7:00 pm at the Michigan School for the Arts, 819 Golf Dr, Pontiac, MI. Auditioners will be asked to read from the script.

Carl Lee Hailey – Defendant, Black male 30-40
Jake Brigance – Defense Attorney, White male, 30-40
Rufus Buckley – District Attorney, White male 35-45
Ellen Roark – Law Clerk, White female 22-0
Ozzie Walls – County Sheriff, Black male 35-50
Judge Omar Noose – Judge, White male 40-65
Lucien Wilbanks – Law Professor, White 45 -70
James Louis “Pete” Willard – White male “Redneck” 18-25
Billy Ray Cobb – White male “Redneck” 18-25
Vernon Pate – Court Officer White male 35-55
Dr. Wilbert Rodeheaver – Psychiatrist White male 45-65
Gwen Hailey – Defendant’s wife, Black female 30-40
Dr W.T. Bass – Psychiatrist, White male, 50-65
Drew Tyndale – Public Defender – White male, 25-35

Performances will be held on July 12, 13, 19 and 20 at Pontiac’s Little Art Theatre, 47 North Saginaw, Pontiac MI. Rehearsal dates and time are TBD.
