For past , present and future members of Pontiac Theatre IV.
This is a Musical Revue to be presented during the evening of
The Pontiac Art Crawl May 16th
Theatre IV is looking for a small group of skilled singers to represent our group by singing songs from Musical Theatre, Movies or Pop Music.
Auditions will be held at
Pontiac’s Little Art Theatre (The PLAT)
47 North Saginaw Pontiac MI
February 24th & 25th at 7pm.
Interested candidates MUST bring a prepared song with sheet music for themselves and the accompanist.  Acapella or recorded music will not be accepted.  The audition piece should be a song you are interested in performing in the revue.
Those selected to sing in this revue will need to attend rehearsals on Monday March 16th, Monday April 20th, and Monday May 11th all at 7pm at The PLAT.
They will be asked to select 2-3 additional songs to sing and to supply two copies of the sheet music one for themselves and one for the accompanist.  There will be no large group numbers to learn and it will be the responsibility of each singer to teach themselves their songs. The accompanist may assist some, during rehearsals, but their job is to provide piano accompaniment not to teach the music. If singers who have been cast want to team up for duets or trios, that is acceptable.
All singers must be current members of Pontiac Theatre IV or join by the second rehearsal.
Sheet Music can be found online at such sites as https://www.musicnotes.com, https://www.sheetmusicplus.comhttps://www.sheetmusicdirect.com/official-storehttps://www.amazon.com/Sheet Music.  Just choose music for piano accompaniment for a soloist of your vocal range (S, A, T, B)
